Models: Diaphragm pumps

Owing to slow discharge rate, heavy solutions (mus, slurry, etc) can cause blockages in the discharge hose and can damage the pump housing. Please note that these pumps should be used for clean water only.

Models: All pumps

A common cause of pumps failing to prime is air leaking at the hose fittings.
A simple way to check this is to remove all hoses, fill the pump with water, start the motor and place a damp but firm piece of cardboard or a sheet of rubber over the suction port. If suction is felt, check the camlock or nut and tail seals, also the hoses for holes. Note: If the pump is fitted with a female camlock this test will not work.
