From humble beginnings selling equipment out of the back of an EJ Holden, CROMMELINS has grown to be the strong family owned business it is today. Employing over 35 people nationally whilst being a supplier of choice to the hire and rental industry for portable powered equipment.
In 2018, The Crommelin Group was formed as a parent company for both Crommelins Machinery and the newly acquired Pneumatic Engineering as well as ongoing expansion and innovation. The Crommelin Group includes Crommelins Machinery, Pneumatic Engineering, Mobile Compressed Air and Gas Generation Australia.
SERVICING THE HIRE INDUSTRY
Crommelins is a founding member and a preferred supplier to the Australian Hire and Rental Industry and is a member of the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA). Terry Crommelin was recently awarded Life Membership for his contribution to the Industry.
Through its dedicated spare parts division and its ability to supply spare parts to all capital cities (normally within 24 hours), Crommelins won the highly esteemed 2013 HRIA Supplier of the Year Award, recognizing the quality products they supply, their after sales support and the professional manner in which Crommelins service their Hire industry customers. Crommelins have a proud history having won the award five times and been runner-up four times since 2001.
