Water Power Echuca Pty Ltd, now trading as Think Water Echuca, was
formed in September 1995 after the proprietor, Jon Power was successful
in purchasing an existing irrigation business he helped to establish in
Echuca in 1989.
Think Water Echuca has played a major part in
developing irrigation systems during the viticulture expansion period
through the 90’s to the mid 2000’s. It created systems for new crops
such as olives, tea, almonds etc., and then during the drought years
used its expertise to save water by entering the subsurface drip market
to irrigate broad-acre crops, using permanent underground drip tube
technology.
