This GroundHog one man post hole digger is designed to put the power of a two man machine in the hands of one. The unique right-angle design minimizes operator fatigue by eliminating torque kick-back to the operator. The 1M5C is equipped with a centrifugal clutch and all operating controls are located on the handlebars for the operator's convenience. Handlebars swing to three positions for: Normal drilling, close up drilling, and ease of moving the unit at the job site with the auger attached. The HD99 is the most powerful digger in the Ground Hog line. The use of hydraulics greatly reduces the need for maintenance therefore reducing downtime. With it's heavy duty construction, variable speed forward and reverse auger rotation the HD99 digs easily and efficiently. It's low profile and compact design eliminate the need for telescoping booms and axles and allows the unit to be transported in the bed of a small truck. It comes equipped with a towbar. Hydraulic model one man digger with two handlebar positions for normal and close up drilling. The C-71-5 Two Man Post Hole Digger is the work-horse of the Ground Hog line. It's straight forward design promotes durability and requires very little maintenance. The C-71-5 comes equipped with a centrifugal clutch and a finger operated, return-style throttle. It is also equipped with a stop switch at both operator positions. The C-71-5 uses Ground Hog's proven gear box, which incorporates Timken® tapered roller bearings for years of trouble-free service. The gear box uses Ground Hog's 7/8" square drive output shaft, an industry standard.
