Method Of Operation

CROMMELINS distributes through four avenues:

  • Resellers (over 600) in Metropolitan and Country areas throughout Australia
  • Hire (Rental) Companies throughout Australia. Depots serviced number some 1100 plus
  • Manufacturers of equipment (OEMs) requiring Petrol and small Diesel Engines (SUBARU)
  • Government - mainly Local Government bodies and Councils, metropolitan and country throughout Australia

Agencies And Products Currently Represented

  • SUBARU Petrol and Diesel Engines, Generators, Pumps and Brushcutters (Japan). CROMMELINS are SUBARU's longest established distributor, the association running since 1964.
  • Essex Silver-Line Floor Sanding Equipment (USA). These drum sanding and edging machines are preferred in the Australian Hire Industry.
  • Bluebird International Lawn and Garden Care Equipment (USA). This equipment covers vertimowers (dethatchers), aerators, turf cutters and stump grinders.
  • Ground Hog Reticulation Trencher (USA). A small chain excavator, prime use in domestic lawn and garden irrigation installations.
  • Square Buff Orbital Floor Sanding Machines (USA). A large orbital sanding machine that produces fine ready to treat timber floor finish.
  • Deva Floor Sanding Machines (Spain). A drum sander that offers expanding drum for ease of changing papers, ideal for DIY users.
  • Floor Stripper (Aust). Versatile machine for stripping off carpet, tiles, lino, etc.
  • Porta-Nailer kit & Pneumatic Nailer (USA). Nail kits for "secret nailing" of wooden floors, etc. This does not need a compressor for operating power.
  • Earlex Wallpaper Steamer (UK). Easy to use steamer to strip wallpaper. Also cleans carpets, tiles, etc.
  • CROMMELINS has equipment made exclusively for them. These include concreting equipment, such as petrol and diesel drive units for vibrator shafts and flexible drive submersible pumps, trowelling machines and plate compactors.
  • CROMMELINS assemble their own range of petrol and diesel powered water pumps and a range of portable 240 volt generating sets.
  • CROMMELINS distribute general trade machinery such as compressors, Kango electric power tools, bricksaws, floor saws, drywall panel lifters, high pressure washers, cement mixers, etc.
